When is Jack and the Beanstalk?

12th - 18th April 2021

Most days have two shows – a full list of dates and times can be found here

Where will it take place?

The pantomime will take place at the Roundhouse Theatre, Statfold Barn Railway, Ashby Road, Tamworth, B79 0BU.

Will it be Covid-Secure?

Absolutely – the safety of our audience, performers and crew members is paramount. Before your visit, your ticket forms part of our track and trace system. Upon arrival, temperature checks will be taken and all Front of House team members will be wearing appropriate PPE. There’s plenty of hand wash/sanitation stations available, along with plenty of toilet facilities. All seating will be allocated based on social bubbles (up to a maximum of six people per bubble) with appropriate distance between other bubbles. There will also be a one-way system around the auditorium and the stage will be 3m away from the front row. At the interval, we will have allocated slots at the bar/toilets for the various seating blocks to minimize movement in the theatre. We’ll be revising these measures constantly and will adjust them to the Government Guidelines at the time. Should you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Why is the pantomime happening in April?

Because of the national lockdown, we wanted to be sure that the pantomime would be able to go ahead, so we decided to move it from its usual time slot to April 2021.

Is the venue disabled friendly?

Yes – we have plenty of access for wheelchair users and disabled patrons.

Is it all indoors?

Yes – it is a purpose build building. Once you are inside, there is no need to leave until the show is finished.

Is it going to be warm?

Absolutely – the building is fully insulated and heated, so it will be like being sat inside a large theatre!

Is there car parking?

Yes – there is a large, free carpark right outside the venue, and you can also use this area to be dropped off and picked up.

Are there toilets?

Yes – plenty of toilets for men, women and disabled visitors.

Will there be food and drink?

Yes – we will be selling a selection of refreshments, snacks and alcoholic drinks.

TICKETS

Where can I buy tickets?

Due to the pandemic, we aren’t operating a physical box office. The easiest way to buy tickets is online HERE

Our ticket hotline is 01827 767276.

Can I choose where to sit?

We are not selling allocated seats due to the current Government guidelines on social distancing. You will be shown to your seats when you arrive, so we can ensure that you are sat in your bubble. All seats have an equally good view of our stages (yes – we have multiple performance spaces!)

What are the ticket prices?

We have two sets of ticket prices – Peak and Off Peak – depending on what show you’d like to attend.

Children 12 months old and younger can go for free if they are sitting on a parents’ knee. You don’t need to purchase a ticket, but please email treasurer@tamworthpanto.co.uk to tell us how many children will need a free ticket and for which performance.

What is a “Family Ticket”?

Two adults and two children (under 16s).

These cannot be swapped around (e.g. one adult, three children / one child / three adults).

Do you do discounts for big group bookings?

Because of the current Government guidelines, groups of more than six people are not permitted. However, if you are in a group that is exempt (e.g. schools or nursing homes) we can negotiate a ticket deal for larger groups. Please email treasurer@tamworthpanto.co.uk for more information.

How long does each show last?

Two hours and 30 minutes (this includes a 20-minute interval)

I’ve bought my ticket in error and would like a refund. Is this possible?

No, we aren’t offering refunds. The auditorium has a limited capacity to ensure social distancing, so we have a reduced number of tickets to sell for each show.

The only time a refund will be issued is if the show is cancelled.

Our priority is keeping you safe. The Tamworth Pantomime Company is working closely with Health and Safety officials and within the government guidelines to ensure our event is covid -19 safety compliant.

This will involve track & trace, social distancing, reduced cast and audience numbers, and strict cleaning regulations within our venue. if you have any concerns please contact us!
